3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour
3 Days gorilla safari in Uganda starting and end in Kigali, offering visitors a much affordable gorilla tracking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National park in Uganda.
This tour is also organized to set off from Entebbe / Kampala to Bwindi national park.
Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: City tour and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
You will be picked by your guide from your hotel in Kigali or airport and go for an OPTIONAL city tour to visit the genocide memorial, Nyamata church, local markets among others. Later, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest in Uganda. This is a 4hours journey through Katuna. Enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the Kigezi region, famously known as the Switzerland of Africa as to proceed to the home of gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay at Bakiga Lodge/Ruhiija Lodge.
DAY 2: Gorilla tracking and cultural walk.
Early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. The trekking may take about 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. You will be in the company of the gentle giants for a maximum of one hour, enjoying them feeding, playing around while taking your observations and photographs. In the evening, you may go for nature walk or cultural walk to the neighboring community. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali and departure.
In the morning, you will set off back to Kigali reaching early in the afternoon to do the last minute shopping and later transfer to the airport to check in for your departure flight.
