A one day gorilla trekking tour in Volcanoes national park will see you leave Kigali early morning and returning to Kigali in the evening. Though a bit inconveniencing since one has to set off at 4:30am to drive a two hours journey to Volcanoes National Park to attend a pre-gorilla tracking briefing, it is a possibility in case one has only a day off from Kigali.
You will be picked from the hotel at 4:30am and drive to Volcanoes National Park reaching by 7:00am for briefing at the park headquarters. You will then embark on the gorilla tracking adventure in the forest, an activity that will take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
On return, you will meet your driver guide at the starting point and drive back to Kigali reaching in the evening.
