Day 1 : Arrival at the Airport in Kigali
On arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be transfered to Ruhengeri town by the driver/guide, about 90 minutes drive. The drive to Ruhengeri is scenic with a breathtakingly beautiful hilly landscape of our country filled with lush green vegetation and tea plantations. Where you need to stop for photo shoots, the our driver/guide shall do that with ease.

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking - Parc national des Volcans
After early breakfast we shall go to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and then head straight to the thick forest for gorilla trekking. All visitors are allowed maximum of one hour to see the Gorillas, go for lunch aftr the trek.
Depending on how long it takes to spot the Gorillas, we may take an excursion to the compellingly beautiful twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo.

Day 3: Cross to Uganda – Bwindi Forest national Park
Take breakfast and depart for Uganda. You will cross the border via Kyanika. Bwindi forest national park is located in the south west of Uganda and home to the largest number of endangered mountain gorillas. The vegetation in Bwindi is thicker than the Bamboo in Volcanoes national park, that is why gorilla trekking in Bwindi is more challenging and adventurous.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Breakfast, report for briefing at the park headquarters. Join fellow trekkers through Bwindi forest to search for Gorillas. In case you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas after a few hours, spend an hour with the mountain Gorillas, and get back to the lodge in time for relaxation as you wait for meals and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali/ Rwanda
Take early breakfast and drive back to Kigali for your departure flight.
